The Black Belt Economic Development Alliance is made up of 11 individual counties, that together, make a viable region that prospers as a whole with each county's success. Many of our area's residents live and raise their family in one county, but commute to their job in another county.
Partnerships have been forged across county lines in education, transportation initiatives, healthcare, community development, industrial recruitment and other arenas that benefit citizens of the region to the fullest extent.
